I am a chemical engineer and just in business of Home Residential Central Air Conditioner- if you know your old house thermostat (device) wasn’t prepared with a C-wire to provide power for a new Bluetooth thermostat- which needs it to prevent broken communications and pull real-time data for your thermostat’s display! Certainly, it is proof and very sensitive to the fine performance of your car— that power is stripped away upon turning on your Car’s Air Conditioner A/C!

As of August 2, 2026- STILL not designed or marketed for use in cars, but rather just for camping activities and mobile homes (RVs). Here, it needs a vent pipe, as shown in the demo, to exhaust hot air out. However, I think we don’t need one. Just like putting a small portable A/C inside a room, it cools and pushes out the cold air while handling the hot air (from other end) through a refrigerant-compressor process, like a small freezer or refrigerator. Yes! A vent pipe is NOT needed, unlike in this demo, if you use it for your car. by Winston Vo
